The place and the time frame in which a story takes place.

A character is simply a person or animal who is featured in a literary work. The person or force that works against the hero of the story. The main character in a story, often a good or heroic type.

The conversations that characters have with one another. The person or character who actually tells the story, filling in the background information and bridging the gaps between dialogue

Exposition— The part of the story, usually near the beginning, in which the characters are introduced, the background is explained, and the setting is described Rising Action— The central part of the story during which various problems arise Conflict—The main problem in a literary work. It is the struggle between opposing forces Climax—The high point or turning point of a story Falling Action—This leads the reader to the end of the story Resolution—The final part of a story in which the main conflict has ended

The message about human life or nature that is the “the focus” in the story that the writer tells.
