France is located in Western Europe and is bordered by 6 countries which are Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Spain.

4 Facts The capital city of France is Paris, which has the amazing Eiffle tower, that is a world wide famous attraction The two other major cities of France are Reims, which has the Reims Cathedral and Normandy which is were the Mont Saint-Michel is.

5 The Eiffel Tower France is most known for the Eiffel Tower.
It was built in 1889, designed by Gustave Eiffel. Approximately 5.5 million people all over the world comes to visit the Eiffel Tower each year. Day Time Night Time

7 Famous Food Eaten Truffles Crepes Croissants Brie Cheese
A type of fungus, not chocolate. Crepes A thin folded pancake with different fillings suitable for desert or breakfast. Croissants A buttery and flaky pastry with many different fillings just like crepes. Brie Cheese One of the most famous from the 400+ French cheese in France.

8 4 Interesting Facts France is one of the most visited places in the world. April Fool's Day is believed to have originated in France, in 1564. The largest art museum in the world is located in Louvre, France. The Offical Language in France is French. Friends may greet each other by lightly kissing on the cheeks, once on the left cheek and once on the right cheek. First names are reserved for family and close friends. Wait until invited before using someone's first name.

11 Climate There are 4 climate areas in France. North Southwest Central
Mild winter and warm but not very hot summers. Rain is frequent all year round. Southwest Mild winter and warm to hot summers. Less rain than the north. Central Coldest winters and hottest summers, but least amount of rain. Mediterranean coast Short and mild winters and has hot summer days. Average Temperture in January is 6 degrees C and July is 23 degrees C

12 France's President Nicolas Sarkozy is the 23rd and the current president of France. He is born on January 28, He is now 56 years old.
