14  FALL GRADE CHECKS ISSUED DURING 5 th WEEK AND 9 TH WEEK  FINAL GRADES FOR THE FALL WILL BE ISSUED ON JANUARY 6. THESE GRADES WILL BE ON THE FINAL HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT.  For transcripts contact Mrs. Tucker at 554-2240  SPRING GRADE CHECKS ISSUED DURING 5 TH WEEK AND 9 TH WEEK  FINAL GRADES FOR THE SPRING WILL BE SET BY MAY 14 ( 8:00 a.m.)  FINAL TRANSCRIPTS WILL BE MAILED TO THE SCHOOLS REQUESTED THE FIRST WEEK IN JUNE.

15  PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES – OCTOBER 15TH AND 16TH  POWER SCHOOL: LOOK AT GRADES AND ATTENDANCE WEEKLY, TALK TO TEACHERS ABOUT ISSUES THAT COME UP, ARRANGE E-MAIL NOTIFICATION ABOUT GRADES  EXPECT PHONE CALLS FROM TEACHERS AND COUNSELING OFFICE, IF GRADES ARE A CONCERN

16  TUTORING PROGRAM AVAILABLE TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY FROM 3:10 PM – 4:00 PM IN ROOM C16  TEACHERS ARE THE BEST RESOURCES WE HAVE. STUDENTS NEED TO TALK TO THEIR TEACHERS, IF THEY ARE STRUGGLING, AND MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH TEACHERS TO COME IN BEFORE OR AFTER SCHOOL.

18  STUDENTS WILL RECEIVE THEIR JOSTEN PACKETS AND PICTURE PACKETS IN SEMINAR, SEPTEMBER 22, ORDER WILL BE PLACED ON OCTOBER 6.  $60.00 DEPOSIT RECOMMENDED  BILL WILL BE MAILED TO YOU IN JANUARY 2015  DELIVERY OF SUPPLIES TO CAMPUS IN MARCH  SUPPLIES NOT PICKED UP THE DAY JOSTENS DELIVERS, WILL BE KEPT IN THE COUNSELING OFFICE

19  ALL STUDENTS IN A FULL SCHEDULE  DISCUSSION OF SECOND SEMESTER SCHEDULE IN OCTOBER  STUDENTS MUST BE ENROLLED IN 5 CLASSES SECOND SEMESTER. 21 OCTOBER 6: FUTURES FAIR AT WSU – KOCH ARENA, 6:00-8:00 PM SESSION DESIGNED FOR SENIORS AND THEIR PARENTS. DAY SESSION AVAILABLE ON OCTOBER 7: 8:30 - 2:30. REPRESENTATIVES FROM OVER 100 SCHOOLS WILL BE PRESENT. NOVEMBER 1: PRIORITY DEADLINE FOR KANSAS 4 YEAR PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES.

22  ACT WILL BE USED FOR ADMISSION, SCHOLARSHIPS AND COURSE PLACEMENT AT A FOUR YEAR UNIVERSITY  COMMUNITY COLLEGES WILL USE THE ACT OR THEIR OWN PLACEMENT TEST  TECHNICAL COLLEGE WILL REQUIRE WORK KEYS OR COMPASS  MILITARY WILL REQUIRE THE ASVAB
