In an effort to integrate the 21st century Distance Learning through Instructional Technology & Distance Education Program (ITDE), I have created a website, full of activities based on teacher’s lesson plans, that students can go onto if they are home sick or have family emergencies and are not able to be in school for the day(s) or week(s) at a time. This website is an example to all teachers of what they can accomplish for their absent students so they do not fall behind in their academics.

12.  I really enjoyed learning from this class. I especially liked the Distance Learning Module #3 because this is my field of expertise.  I feel strongly that all teachers need to know that there is a way to make their own website for their students for make-up work. If one remembers, it is a hassle to catch a student up on their academics when they are absent from their classroom even for a day.  I learned new trends and issues that could and have occurred in technology when I was reading through articles.  We all need to try to stay updated with technology.
