Public Places What is a public place? A public place is: an indoor or outdoor area, whether privately or publicly owned, to which the public have access by right or by invitation Places other than your home

Private Place Can you think of a place that is not public? Private means- personal, individual, exclusive Private talk means- confidential, one-on-one - (Can we talk in private?-means speaking alone, uninterrupted)

When at school…. Milestones has certain policies for safety - There are times when students cannot be left alone, a staff member needs to go with you somewhere You can ask to sit in the quiet room, staff may need to check on you or sit outside
