Clam Worms This is a group of marine or shore worms that are also known as bloodworms, sandworms, or rag worms.

Clam Worms They are generally found in muddy or sandy habits in our area. Larger worms are harvested and shipped to this area as fishing bait from the Northeast.

Clam Worms Clam worms have a pair of flat outgrowths on almost all of their segments that aid in movement.

Clam Worms These worms also have a head with a sharp, retractable pair of jaws.

Clam Worms Their principle food is small amphipods and other worms. They will also eat plant material.
