2 Clam Worms This is a group of marine or shore worms that are also known as bloodworms, sandworms, or rag worms.

4 Clam Worms They range in size from just a few centimeters to almost a meter in some species!

5 Clam Worms They are generally found in muddy or sandy habits in our area. Larger worms are harvested and shipped to this area as fishing bait from the Northeast.

6 Clam Worms Clam worms have a pair of flat outgrowths on almost all of their segments that aid in movement.

7 Clam Worms These worms also have a head with a sharp, retractable pair of jaws.

8 Clam Worms Their principle food is small amphipods and other worms. They will also eat plant material.
