Health Services Funding Request $6.4 million in addition to current appropriation to fully fund inmate health care vAnticipate 3.6% increase in drug costs based on Consumer Price Index medical commodities component vAnticipate 8.8% increase in community hospital costs based on Consumer Price Index medical care component vIncludes $1.7 million increase based on Region IV health care contract

Food Service Contract vRequest $2.5 million to fund third-year contract cost of out-sourced food service operations vContract per diem increase from $2.415 to $2.464 per inmate per day vEstimated savings for first three years of contract equal $16.9 million

Price Level Increase - Private Prisons vCorrectional Privatization Commission requests $2.3 million vProvides 3% increase in per diem rates paid to private vendors operating 5 correctional facilities
