U.S. companies will have the opportunity to meet and network with these high-ranking Ghanaian government officials during the Business Briefing. Project Highlights This USTDA-funded visit will benefit U.S. companies that can provide solutions to support the expansion of Ghana’s power sector in general, and equipment and services for a ship-mounted, liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal, storage, and regasification unit in Ghana, including accompanying infrastructure, such as mooring and pipelines, required to transmit the gas to shore. Opportunities over the next five years include: floating storage and regasification unit and associated physical infrastructure, a secure supply of LNG, LPG services and distribution, LPG tank farm in Bonyere, gas pipeline for the second phase of the Western Corridor Gas Infrastructure Project, oil refinery construction with a potential site at Winneba, energy technology such as smart metering/smart grid, transformers and substations for rural electrification projects, and a 330 KV transmission backbone from Prestea to Domunli to Aboadze.
