3 + What is the Hadassah Leadership Fellow (HLF) Program? A 2-year leadership engagement program designed to inspire and cultivate future leaders by offering candidates opportunities to: grow and lead perform volunteer work for Hadassah and the larger community acquire life-enhancing professional skills HLF will be based on core Hadassah values: volunteerism philanthropy self-realization and political awareness Zionism and Israel 3

4 + Goals of the Hadassah Leadership Fellows Program Establish a pipeline and alternate Hadassah volunteer career path for qualified and committed women Provide a vetted team of ambassadors across the US Energize the organization with fresh ideas, new perspectives and outside voices Impact change in specific fields Broaden Hadassah’s outreach 4

6 + Program Overview: Year 2 Make YOUR Impact Impact Boards—Hadassah vehicles of change meeting under the auspices of a specific theme or issue. Your personal interests, professional skills and backgrounds will drive the work of these groups. Fellows will select to serve on one of four Impact Boards: Women’s Health and Medical Research Social Investing in Hadassah Women and Public Policy Social Justice/Global Humanitarianism Fellows will make a minimum $1800 contribution—directed to the Impact Board of choice Impact Boards will consist of: Hadassah Leadership Fellows Specific Hadassah Volunteer Portfolio Holders External experts 6

7 + Women’s Leadership Board Engage high profile Jewish women in the targeted demographics for ideas, advice, networking and publicity Advise on issues relevant to the next generation of American Jewish Women Recommend sources of funding Identify content speakers for seminars Assist in identifying future advisory board members 7

11 Hadassah’s Mission…Where it Began Henrietta Szold united a community of activists to support her vision. This vision became Hadassah’s mission.

Hadassah empowers its members and supporters, as well as youth in Israel and America, through opportunities for personal growth, education, advocacy and Jewish continuity.
