10 Generational Differences Just a touch of the June webinar by Chris Hallam Fraternity men feel that everything is an expression of their individuality Feedback needs to be constructive and sensitive can result in tears and resignation They do not respond to “Do It” views of authority They value recognition and positive reinforcement The need to pick your battles Should I phone them? Text Them? E-mail them? Message on facebook? How about in person?

11 Hook Them Early and Start Small Find an alumnus good at working with, and connecting, the young Chapter members Hold Graduation Ritual for Seniors Connect the graduates to the alumni world Gather interest group well in advance of an event Get one event planned Don’t overwhelm with too much Build a small motivated team Help avoid burnout Can you commit to finding three alumni? Three in the next year
