www.ustda.gov U.S. Trade and Development Agency Objectives Engage with the local business community in the targeted states to: Emphasize USTDA’s results-driven approach Promote the Agency’s programs as an effective way to export to emerging markets Generate new sources of project proposals Expand pool of technical experts and Contractors for Agency-funded activities Increase the number of U.S. companies that benefit from USTDA-funded activities Increase metro areas and cities that benefit from USTDA-funded activities

www.ustda.gov U.S. Trade and Development Agency Goal : To implement a state outreach strategy in order to increase USTDA’s profile in key second tier markets To obtain our goal, Public Affairs recommends developing a “3 Touch” outreach strategy: One: leverage USTDA-organized event (ie RTMs) as a catalyst for strengthening partnerships with the targeted cities / states. Two: participate in state- or local-organized trade show or event. Three: conduct roundtable with business community, designed to showcase opportunities with USTDA. Recommendation
