2004 Urban Mobility Study (TTI) Examines 85 U.S. urban areas from 1982 to 2002 Conclusions: The problem can be stated simply – congestion has grown everywhere in areas of all sizes. Congestion occurs during longer portions of the day and delays more travelers and goods than ever before. There are ways to address congestion problems, but there are not enough solutions being implemented to keep pace with the growing travel demands.
