AUP Objectives n IT/Internet resources are expensive: Ensure that those resources are used for academic purposes only n Ensure fair use of limited resources: Nobody monopolizes usage of those resources n Protect privacy n Uphold ethics, rules and laws

Alternative Internet access n AUP is not imposed but Thai legislation still applies n Type of connection: ADSL 256K/128K (use telephone line) n Paid service: 450 Baht/month, including modem rental (invoice issued every month, pay in advanced), installation charge: 150 Baht (one time charge) n On-line registration: http://itserv.ait.ac.th/helpdesk/ and click ADSL Registration
