3 The Earth Geographical Features Back to Overview This unit introduces the students to concepts such as the layers of the Earth, the landforms and geographical features that we can find on the crust, and the place where we live

4 Introduction to the layers, crust, mantle and core of the Earth. Names of some landforms: mountain, hill, island, archipelago, plain, valley, lake, and island. Back to Overview

5 Key content words related to the topic will be introduced Students will explore the comparative form of a few one- syllable adjectives Students will also use some adjectives to describe the landforms (high, flat, low, big, small) They will use simple structures in the present simple tense (affirmative, negative and interrogative) to communicate Back to Overview
