5 CEOC in Brief (4/4) WHAT WE DO We aim to promote safety and reduce accidents through independent conformity assessment. We represent the common interests of our sector, as well as those of our members, to the EU institutions and to all European or international organisations and associations dealing with directives, regulations, standards and accreditation. We keep our members informed of significant matters (with respect to the above), and establish CEOC International positions for them to follow. We aim to address concerns related to safety, quality and the environment.

Credibility CEOC represents the TIC sector in Europe Our work is increasingly in lobbying and then our credibility becomes even more important CEOC shall be controlled by its members If the other parties feel that we only present few members or countries then we lose our credibility Both large and small members shall be involved 33
