1. Director of Quality Daniel R. Davis

2. Job Description This position reports to the president of the company. Is responsible for coordinating all quality improvement efforts in all plant and office locations of the company. Develops systems to report quality information and data to the responsible managers in all locations and areas of the company. Develops systems to eliminate the root causes of quality problems and prevent them from occurring. Works with customers, manufacturing, design, and sales to make sure that customer requirements are understood and met at all levels of the supply chain. Manages the location quality managers, lab managers, and inspection departments of all company locations.

3. Key Responsibilities Reduce off quality and customer returns by supporting the manufacturing and design areas with data, information, and problem solving assistance. Provide support to customers, sales, and marketing by resolving customer quality issues in a timely and professional manner. Manage quality assurance staff to achieve these goals, while at the same time providing for the professional development and advancement of the people who report to me. Represent the company as a member of the National Association of Furniture Manufacturer’s, Joint Industry Fabric Standards Committee

5. Educational Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Textiles, Textile Chemistry, or a related field
