My ethical dilemma Some of you may ask me some questions as follows: Your job has saved a lot of human power, and reduced the cost of some products, you should be happy, Why did you have ethical dilemma? Yes, our society has been benefit from our engineers’ research, but I have been perplexing by a question. The more our engineers develop special vehicles, the more pollution these vehicles.

Do you like the world like this.

First, we will discuss this problem that why people use cars or vehicles? Vehicle was developed more than 100 years. With the help of vehicles, the people’s life quality has been improved, it is convenient for people to live. People drive their vehicle to move from one place to another, even from one country to another country.

Then, we will discuss this problem that Why o vehicles produce waste gases? Americans dump enough oil to contaminate about 1.5 trillion gallons of water every year. Also, many car washing detergents contain phosphorus. Vehicles include cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats and planes (anything that burns gas). They leave oil, antifreeze, grease and metals on streets and driveways. They also emit nitrogen and other contaminants, which settle in water.
16
Oil, petroleum products and other toxins from vehicles kill fish, plants, aquatic life and even people. Phosphorus and nitrogen cause explosive growth of algae, which depletes water of oxygen, killing fish and aquatic life. One quart of oil will contaminate thousands of gallons of water because it doesn't dissolve. These toxins as well as trace metals and degreasing agents used on automobiles contaminate drinking water and can cause major illness. Some of these toxins and metals are absorbed in various sea life and cause medical problems to people when eaten.
17
Finally, we will discuss how to deal with vehicles’ pollution. No.1, To reduce the use of vehicles may be one of the best way to decrease vehicles’ emission. No.2, taking public transit will be encouraged. No.3, our engineers will use scientific technology to develop new power vehicles. For example, developing hybrid vehicles, solar energy vehicles and electric vehicles. We are sure that our future will be bright and beautiful.
