I n t e g r i t y - S e r v i c e - E x c e l l e n c e 4 Relevance of ALO rating? In 2007, a study was conducted by cadets at USAFA. The Ops Research Dept conducted a study to analyze the correlation between success at USAFA and the ALO 4060 evaluation. They did statistical analysis to see if cadets who performed well throughout their four years at USAFA had received higher ALO ratings. Cadets who received a higher ALO score were less likely to be involuntarily discharged during their time at USAFA. The results reinforced the value of the 4060.
