Genesis 1
18
1. God created everything out of nothing. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen......was not made out of what was visible (Hebrews 11:3).
19
2. God created everything in six 24-hour days. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy (Exodus 20:11-12a).

21
Ps 33:6 3. God created the world by the power of His Word
22
...and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm (Psalm 33:6)
23
“God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.” (Genesis 1:31) 4. Everything God created was perfect.
24
“By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command.” (Heb 11:3) 5. By faith we believe that God is the World’s Creator.
25
“The Big Bang” Nothing can’t be packed together! Nothing to slow, turn and swirl the matter into galaxies.
26
It can’t; but if it could swirl… How can some planets backwards?
27
God created all living things with the ability to be fruitful and increase in number, but he limited and directed that reproductive ability so that plants, animals and human beings can reproduce only according to their kinds.
28
According to kind! Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” So God created every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind.
29
According to kind And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind.”
30
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them (Genesis 1:26-27).
31
The image of God… …is like a holy mirror, perfectly reflecting God’s will and wisdom.
32
Garden of Eden 6. God created man in his own image (holy)

God deliberated in creating the first people.God deliberated in creating the first people. It was also God’s design that the human race should have control over the creation. Man was to be God’s representative on earth. It was also God’s design that the human race should have control over the creation. Man was to be God’s representative on earth. Most importantly, the fact that they were created in God’s image meant that the first people, Adam and Eve, were sinless, like God himself, and that they naturally reflected the will of God in their hearts and lives. Most importantly, the fact that they were created in God’s image meant that the first people, Adam and Eve, were sinless, like God himself, and that they naturally reflected the will of God in their hearts and lives.
34
The first man and the first woman were the “crown” of God’s creation: God expended personal effort to make man, unlike the rest of creation which he called forth out of nothing, with nothing but his Word. God provided a pleasant home for the first human beings and gave them satisfying work.
35
Gen 1:28 Rule over… subdue the earth! 6. Man is the highest of God’s creation (not evolved in any way from an animal); created to rule over all of God’s creation.
36
“Humans” Matter (sun, moon, stars) Matter + life + bodies + souls Matter + life + bodies (animals) Matter + life (plants)

THE FIRST ARTICLE (Creation) I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. What does this mean? What does this mean? I believe that God created me and all that exists, and that he gave me my body and soul, eyes, ears and all my members, my mind and all my abilities. I believe that God created me and all that exists, and that he gave me my body and soul, eyes, ears and all my members, my mind and all my abilities. And I believe that God still preserves me by richly and daily providing clothing and shoes, food and drink, property and home, spouse and children, land, cattle and all I own, and all I need to keep my body and life. God also preserves me by defending me against all danger, guarding and protecting me from all evil. All this God does only because he is my good and merciful Father in heaven, and not because I have earned or deserved it. For all this I ought to thank and praise, to serve and obey him. This is most certainly true.
