11 The Division, a shadowy government agency, is genetically transforming citizens into an army of psychic warriors—and brutally disposing of those unwilling to participate. Nick Gant (Chris Evans), a second-generation telekinetic or "mover," has been in hiding since the Division murdered his father more than a decade earlier. PUSH PUSH ©2009 Summit Entertainment. 17 1. PUSH YOUR LIFE FORWARD 2. PUSH YOUR GIFT TO HELP OTHERS Producer Glenn Williamson: "There's a real story that revolves around Nick and how he turned his back on the world. Cassie is the character that gets him out of it and it becomes a real human relationship.” PUSH PUSH ©2009 Summit Entertainment. Review © David Bruce

18 Although the film has been criticized for being incoherent, it does deliver a very important message: Despite difficulties, move forward with your life, even in the face of death. And that message is presented in a eye- popping cinematic style not often experienced. I like the style and I like the message. I only wish the delivery had been better. 19 Ulysses S. Grant said something that really fits PUSH –and your life: “The art of war is simple enough. Find out where your enemy is. Get at him as soon as you can. Strike him as hard as you can, and keep moving on.” APPLICATION 1. Identify the enemies of your soul. 2. Do what you know you must to overcome. 3. Commit to moving on.
