3. Dramatic Irony One character knows more than another or the audience know something the characters dont. Example: Lion King: We know that Scar killed the king & his son doesnt know. We know who the bad guy is but the characters dont.

4. Verbal Irony Saying the opposite of whats expected. Example: You burn a cake and say Oh great! Another one of my fine baking talents. You trip and fall down the stairs and say, I should be a figure skater, Im so graceful.
