2 2 Introduction This study compares the SUKHOI Regional Jet Aircraft SSJ100-95 with some other aircraft: The EMBRAER ERJ 190 (98-seat standard configuration) its direct competitor; The AIRBUS A319 (134-seat all-economy configuration) not considered a direct competitor, being different in weight and capacity, from operational and cost points of view. This comparison applies to general and details design, weights and performance. The Cabin layouts considered for comparison are the basic one in all-economy configuration, offering the same comfort: 98 seats at 32” pitch for SSJ100-95 98 seats at 32” pitch for ERJ 190 134 seats at 32” pitch for A319
