Implementation Will be included in the next revision of PD6662 Pending this it is called up in an Industry agreement IA 1501:2015 – When cable is installed by the alarm company, including any sub-contractor to the alarm company, it should conform to BS4737-3.30:2015 – When existing systems are upgraded or added to, then cable conforming to BS4737-3.30:2015 should be used on the new part of the installation. However it is not necessary to replace any cables already in situ. – Note: To enable clearance of stock, cabling not conforming to BS4737-3.30:2015 may be used for contracts entered into up until 31 st March 2016.
