5. Plan for the Week  Today- discuss chapters 4 and 5 and quiz creation contest  Tuesday-quiz over chapters 4-5  Wednesday- in Lab 503 to work on Journal Write #1  Thursday- “Fun Activity” with Journal Write #1  Friday- reading day and notebook turn in

6. Journal Write #2 Options  This needs to be typed up, 12 point font, double spaced, 1 ½-2 pages long. Print it out BEFORE class for on-time credit Thursday.  Choices:  How have you formed your identity? What defines you, and makes you who you are?  Or, more specifically-  What is your family’s legacy? How do the past generations affect you? Their choices, their beliefs, etc…

7. Notebook organization  Please complete the notebook organization steps, but you’re not turning this in yet!  These will be turned in FRIDAY-make sure you’re updated by then!  Fixes:  10/29 Editing Reflection DELETE  Fix yesterday’s quiz- change it to 10 points, not 12!  11/23 should be 11/22, last Friday!

8. Bellwork12/2/13  What do you think of the book so far? Make one personal statement (likes/dislikes) and one observation about author’s style (ideas/language/etc.)

9. Quiz Creation Contest  The group with the hardest quiz questions wins a prize!  You will brainstorm 3 multiple choice questions (A/B/C/D responses) 1 about plot 1 about characters 1 about theme  When your group finishes, one person needs to log on to the blog, follow the link to the Google Form, and submit your questions
