True Obedience to God’s Word St. Peter Worship Sunday, September 9th
2
Welcome to St. Peter! Welcome to God’s house for worship this Rally Day weekend as we rally around God’s saving Word for spiritual blessings and divine encouragement. May our hymns, Scripture readings and hymns lead us to treasure our Bibles and to say with the psalmist, “Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path”.
3
Welcome to St. Peter! There are friendship registers at the end of each row pew. Please take a moment to give us your information so that we have a record of your time with us today. Thank you!

For Our Guests If you have questions, let us try to help. Speak with an usher, greeter, or the person next to you. If you’d like to learn more about St. Peter and its ministry, please talk to a pastor or member after the service.

Prayer before Worship Blessed Lord, you have given me your Holy Scriptures for my learning. May I so hear, read, learn and take them to heart, that being strengthened and comforted by your holy Word, I may cling to the blessed hope of everlasting life. Amen.
7
OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE In the Sacrament of Holy Communion, Jesus gives us his true body and blood. We express unity with our Savior and those who share our faith and stand on the teachings of God’s Word. Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of our church or the WELS. Visitors and guests who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.
