2 What does it mean to be safe?

3 When you walk down the street or play in your neighborhood without a trusted adult there, how do you stay safe? Flickr

4 What does a traffic light tell people? What does a red light mean? What does a yellow light mean? What does a green light mean? A website traffic light can help you choose “just right” sites.

5 Green light -- GOOD! doesn’t let you talk with strangers appropriate words fun things to do and see What are some “green” websites you visit? How do you know they are safe?

6 Yellow light -- CAUTION can communicate freely with others not sure it is right for you asks for private information Have you ever come across a “yellow” site? How did you take caution? get permission from a trusted adult

7 Red light --- STOP filled with things for older kids or adults not right for you Might have gone there by accident Have you ever come across a “red” site? How could you tell? avoid, or ask a trusted adult
