Symmetry Symmetry refers to the arrangement of the individual parts of an object that can be divided into similar halves. 3 Types of Symmetry Radial - Body parts arranged in a circle around a central point -Examples: jellyfish, sea urchins and sea anemone

Symmetry Bilateral -Body parts that are nearly mirror images of each other. A line can be drawn down the center of their bodies to divide them into two equal parts. -Examples: Grasshoppers, Lobsters and humans Asymmetrical -Body parts that cannot be divided into similar halves -Example: sponges
