Related Vitality Issues Do our standards adequately cover the scope of its terms of reference? –Each committee should examine relevant areas of interest and look for new ‘markets’ –Request for website feedback, new topic possibilities Are our standards delivered to the market in a timely fashion? –Each committee should recommend process improvements –Leverage the Internet in support of the development process Are our standards maintained and up-to-date? –Continuity of volunteers, succession plans –Each committee should aggressively address maintenance and continuity issues Standards related products: paper, electronic, book series, training, C&T –Committees should market related products (web) –Actively solicit contributions from membership (web)
