2. The start of the Potato Famine The famine stared in 1845 as the potato leaves stared to turn black and curled, then rotted. THEN IT CAME - THE FAMINE.

3. Our Beer Guinness is Ireland’s traditional drink. It is 250 years old. It was originally made in Dublin and still is brewed in the same location - but the bewery is far bigger today than it was then!

4. Our Traditional Food Irish soda bread, Shepherd's pie, scones and Irish coffee are the most common food in the history of Ireland.

5. The Revoultion By the end of the 1700’s most of Ireland was owned by protestants no catholic people were allowed to be members of the parliament.

6. F.R Murphy & Vingear Hill Farther Murphy fought the English on 26th may 1798. He got hanged by British soldiers on 2 July 1798.
