TREATIES OF VELASCO (May 14, 1836)  Public Treaty:  Santa Anna promised to never again to fight against the Texans.  Santa Anna agreed to order all Mexican forces out of Texas immediately.  Exchange of Texan and Mexican prisoners captured in the fighting  All property taken by the Mexican forces during the war was to be returned to the rightful owners.

5. TREATIES OF VELASCO (May 14, 1836)  Secret Treaty:  Santa Anna was to be released immediately and receive an escort back to Mexico.  Santa Anna agreed to work for Mexican recognition of Texas Independence.  Santa Anna agreed to work inside Mexico to get the Texas boundary set at the Rio Grande.
