17 DTE in SEESIM12 OCT 15-19 2012 DTE in SEESIM12 Experiment Goals The aim of this set of experiments is to provide insights to help determine NATO’s role in non-NATO led Multi-National exercises, in the context of the Distributed Training and Exercises (DTE) programme Objective: Assess the value of having NATO, i.e. JWC, JFTC and NC3A participate in a non-NATO led multinational exercise, such as SEESIM12, from the perspective of NATO and participating nations * Will also inform CP107 (ETEE FS) requirements

18 DTE in SEESIM12 OCT 15-19 2012 DTE in SEESIM12 Experiments - Assess the viability and utility of using the Joint Exercise Management Module (JEMM), in a non-NATO led multi-national exercise - Assess the viability and utility of using the NATO Training Federation (NTF), more specifically the Joint Theatre Level Simulation (JTLS) – Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS) Federation, in a non-NATO led multi-national exercise -Assess the utility of a collaboration tool such as the Exercise Scenario Resource Portal (ESRP) Discovery Type Experiments - seeks to introduce novel systems, concepts, organizational structures, technologies, or other elements to a setting where their use can be observed and catalogued
