Location SSouth Korea is located in Asia Bodies of water bordering South Korea are the Yellow sea, and the Sea of Japan. North Korea is the only country that borders South Korea. RRegion is South East Asia. Capital is Seoul.

Place Population is 48,860,500 Korean ( Urban ) 97.7%, Japanese – 2%, U.S White- 0.1%, Chinese- 0.1, other – 0.1%. Religion- Christian- 26.3%, Protestant 19.7%, Roman Catholic 6.6%, Buddhist- 23.2%, Other or unknown- 1.3%, none- 49.3% Topography is, 30% consists of lowlands, and rest is uplands and mountain. One body of water is the Han River.

Human/Environmental People live in the Urban and Rural areas. Impact of technology, South Korea has successfully developed and exported a wide range of innovative. The environment is, winters are long cold and dry, were summer are short hot and humid.

Culture Music- Kpop is a popular genre in South Korea. Like example, musician PSY’s Gangnam style has made top 10 for Itunes. Some foods are, kimchi, bibimbap, tteokbokki, and Ramen. There traditional clothing is called Hanbok. And there characters in the Korean alphabet all call Hangeul.
