4 It is important to identify and correctly use pronouns because it will help you understand what you are reading and make you a better writer. What are other reasons it is important to identify and correctly use pronouns? You will be tested on it!

6 A pronoun is a word that is used in place of a noun. Examples: He, she, it, and they are pronouns..

7 Some common pronouns replace nouns. Examples: The Boy= he The girl= she The boys over there= them The balls over there= those

8 Subject pronoun Takes place of a noun or nouns as the subject of a sentence. Example The girl went to the park. She went alone. She is the pronoun! She
