Conference Aims 1.To understand the SSCO role in relation to the five hour offer. 2.To have a clearer understanding of the national picture of competition and what we are doing locally. 3.To be able to network effectively with SSCO across the county.

Community Club Transition Project This project aims at getting more community providers, delivering on a school site with a view to attracting young people to enjoy and continue further participation outside of school. Development Centres 3 venues to cover City To cater yrs 2,3,4,5,6 SAFC to provide Coach. SSCO to provide venue 2 x 1 hour sessions Schools Coaching Designated coach (funded) Working with yrs 2,3,4 & 5 across Sunderland City schools Working with SSCO targets Fundamental program incorporating soccer movement. Quantitive feedback for SSCOs 3 year strategic program SAFC/SSP Partnership

Events 4 v 4 Festivals for yrs 2, 3, 4 8 v 8 festivals for yrs 5, 6, 7, 8 ‘B’ team festival for yr 7 & 8, 9 Yr 7 tryout Games Day. Timetable of Events Starting February half term Yr 2 4 v 4 festival Every half term a different age group will be targeted. SSCO Meetings SSCO to attend a meeting At the Academy of Light / Stadium of Light. A tour of the Academy

12 Nursery settings have been identified to run an Early Moves pilot. Edinburgh University have delivered a proposal to the Head Teachers of each school. Each school will now send two members of staff on training in December. Base line data will be collected from all schools taking part. On going support will be provided by the tutor team. Opportunities fro cross networking will be made available. Long term aim is to grow more tutors with Early Years experience across the city. Early Moves Pilot Project
