13 Telestroke Program Dubbed “REACH” (Remote Evaluation of Ischemic Stroke”) Initiated in 2003 One of the longest continuous running telestroke networks in the world Network of 27 spoke hospitals Utilizes traditional hub and spoke model for rural hospitals and a hybrid model for larger hospitals

14 Telestroke Program Goal is to improve patient outcomes by providing time-sensitive treatment (IV tPA) to underserved areas using a “drip and ship” model or a “drip and keep” model
