Expo 2015 = World’s Fair Theme: Feeding the Planet. Energy for Life
Timing: May 1st to October 31st 2015 Participants: 142 participating countries + Corporate pavilions (e.g. Coca-Cola, Apple, …) Visitors: 20-30 million visitors expected (40% Italian) 1 billion virtual visitors Audience: business, government delegations, public institutions, regulatory authorities, policy makers, consumers Importance: historical showcase of innovation and contribution to progress (e.g. light bulb, elevator, diesel engine, ice-cream, touchscreen, etc.) USA Pavilion: showcase innovation and responsibility as a core of America’s values

WHY ? Citigroup has been vetted by the State Department as one of the most innovative, respected and responsible companies reflecting the theme of the USA pavilion Citigroup is a premium player in the B2B and B2C space reflecting the best standards of American companies Through enabling progress and innovation, Citi’s projects help solving several of the issues currently hampering development of sustainable cities and lifestyles in a number of countries

Benefits of participation
Becoming the official Bank of the USA Pavilion Displaying one of its Smart Banking branches and showcasing other cutting-edge technologies or innovations to advance customer interactions, make payment easier and simplify banking services Becoming a content provider (i.e. Citi Theater in Yeosu) and brand one of the components of the Pavilion’s programming (i.e. Food Truck Nation, Student Ambassadors, American Food & Drink, American Food&Drink restaurant …) Contributing to showcase the Progress Maker Initiative at the Pavilion and highlighting Citi’s contribution as for example the healthy food supply through Revolution Foods or cities’ urbanization Using the USA pavilion’s VIP areas, conference rooms and roof-top terrace for organizing business meetings, hosting receptions and meeting government delegations The pavilion will be a platform for Citi to strengthen relationships with the Governments of the 142 participants countries, with Italian and European institutions, and to raise and influence policy and regulatory issues such as the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership whose aim is to reduce transatlantic barriers to trade and investment

BECOMING A PARTNER Partnership opportunities range from 1 to 5 million dollars depending on the level of involvement Partners committing by March 15th will have the opportunity to meet with President Obama on March 27th in the occasion of the signing in Rome of the USA’s Participation Contract with Expo 2015
