2. The super fish. Aquaculture food producing sector in China is currently the worlds fastest food producing sector in the world. Aquaculture has developed a type of salmon that reaches market size twice as fast as normal fish and uses less food this salmon could really help some problems that we have.

3. Negatives If one of the genetically modified fish were accidently set into the wild they would kill most of the wild fish in the ocean because they are 83% larger. The fish may be harmful to people who could be allergic chemicals If these Salmon were released into the wild the offspring they would produce wouldn’t survive to adulthood.

4. Positives Feed’s more people and uses less food. Reaches market size twice as fast 350% more efficient than cows The GM salmon are more efficient with feed than normal salmon, genetically modified fish could be given 2kg of feed to produce 1kg of meat.

5. They could help. These fish could help us out of some sticky situations such as lack of resources, because these fish don’t eat as much food as feed as normal fish they are saving feed therefore there can be more fish. These fish could be great for the world but at the same time they could also be very hazardous.
