Background Isaac was born on the 4 th of January 1643 in Woolsthorpe Lincolnshire, England. (Christmas day in other calendars?) He is regarded as the most original and influential theorist in the history of science. When three years of age sent to his grandmothers. :( Momma came back 1653…Newton turns into farmer but fails :P Did a lot of private studies Cambridge President of Royal Society 1703-1727

Contributions Method of Fluxions(infinitesimal calculus) The Method of Fluxions and Infinite Series, 1736 Calculus D: Calculated that the orbit of the sun was an ellipse. I would show you guys examples, but its calculus and I don’t want to go there yet. Lol

Great Mathematician or Overrated? I believe that Sir Isaac Newton was a great Mathematician not only for his contributions and discoveries but for his scientific discoveries as well. Although Newton delayed many of his publications they eventually came out and about, and they made great contributions, whether in the Scientific field or the Mathematical field, he was as people put it a co-creator of Calculus.
