4. PPP Example: Social Protection in Health for Tea Farmers and Workers of Afri Tea and Coffee Blenders Ltd. Objectives: Mponde Tea Factory workers, UTEGA tea farmers and their dependents (170.000 people) have improved access to primary health facilities, testing, care, treatment and health education related to HIV/AIDS, malaria and TB.

5. 5 PPP with the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) Objectives: To enable the NHIF in selected districts of Tanga and Lindi Regions to enroll informal sector workers and their families into the Community Health Fund (CHF) To improve access to health promotion and prevention services (including HIV/AIDS and screening for non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and hypertension) for all NHIF members.
