7. Social Studies/Science – State and National Symbols – Community Helpers – Historical Figures – Compare and Contrast locations and people – Animal and plant lifecycles – Weather – Conservation

8. Homework – Weekly packet – Goes home Monday – Due back the following Monday – Homework Folder (yellow) – Math, Reading Log, and Writing (hand or journal) Home Study – Experiential learning – “Teachable Moments” – Blog accountability – Blaze the Husky
