The Spiritual Mind Text: Romans 8:6 Romans 8:6 stands as the focal point of all the commands of the Old and New Testaments. Proverbs 29:18 – “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”

The Requirement Of Vision What Is The “Vision”? “Prophetic vision” … “guidance from God” “Dream, revelation, oracle” (Strong’s). (Num. 12:6; Joel 2:28; Jer. 23:28) I Peter 4:11 – “… the oracles of God” Those who have the “vision” of Proverbs 29:18, have their minds on spiritual matters (Rom. 8:6)! “Vision” makes us wise (Ps. 119:98-100).

The Result Of “No Vision” … “The People Perish” (“cast off restraint” … “uncontrolled”) ANARCHY!!!! Sinful activities abound … Christians are not immune!! (II Pet. 2:20-22) “Why are there so many religions today?” The spiritual mind (Rom. 8:6) wants to conform to God’s “vision”! The Requirement Of Vision

“What Must I Do To Be Saved?” Hear The Gospel (Rom. 10:17) Believe In Christ (Jn. 8:24) Repent Of Sins (Lk.13:3) Confess Christ (Rom. 10:10) Be Baptized (I Pet. 3:21) For The Erring Child: Repent (Acts 8:22), Confess (I Jn. 1:9), Pray (Acts 8:22)
