Background RSVP – Your Invitation to Volunteer Established in 1971 Opportunity to put skills, talents, and life experiences into motion for others – and benefit our Minnesota communities in the process. The Greater Twin Cities and East Central RSVP work in 11 counties and are sponsored by Volunteers of America-Minnesota.

Ambassador Roles Connectors Connect with people or groups who are interested in learning more about RSVP Schedule speaking opportunities Pass information on to RSVP staff Schedule minimum of 6 opportunities Presenters/Tablers Handle logistics of speaking events Give presentations to groups Table at an event, fair, exhibit, etc. Present at least 2 times a year

Connectors Start with thinking about where you’re connected (work place, church, schools, gym, etc.) Think about other places to connect with potential volunteers Seek out people who may be interested in volunteering Tell them a little about RSVP and gather their contact information Pass individual information along to an RSVP staff person
