2. NIH Workshop: Extramural Enterprise and Extension Systems Date: May 10, 2001 Time: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM Location: Natcher Conference Center

3. Goals of the Workshop A review of extension systems that either exist within ICs at the NIH or are planned by the ICs. There are two key requirements for systems to be included in the conference. First, that they support business practices that are in common with other ICs. Second, that they are developed using software that would make them easily adaptable to other ICs.

4. Overall Format of the Workshop Demonstration of the extension systems will be continuous from 10:15 AM through 2:00 PM with a break of one hour at noon for lunch. Each extension system will have a prepared presentation on the hour or the half hour that will be followed by discussion sessions with the workshop participants The user modules of the IMPAC II and other enterprise systems will be prominently featured during this session. The User Group Advocates for each IMPAC II module will also be available for discussion and to collect and report comments of the participants for the closing Plenary Session.
