Rajiv Rin Yojona Objectives: Addressing housing needs for the EWS/LIG segments in urban areas. Expanding credit flow to the housing section Increasing home ownership Target : Annual Target for FY 2014-15 for State :14600 The same is distributed among ULBs Aim The provision of 5% interest subsidy on loan amount to EWS /LIG to Buy ready built house (may identify purchasable house in apartment developed by Govt/private developer) Construct new houses Construct additional room to existing building

Rajiv Rin Yojona Coverage : Applicable to all ULBs Beneficiary without own home in his/his spouse name with site and without pacca home. having home of 40 sqmt who intend to expand. identified under other housing schemes. Preference for SC/ST/Minority/Women/Physical Handicapped. Group Housing Societies (who intend to construct group houses) Eligibility Annual Income EWS-1 lakh LIG- 1 lakh -2 lakh

Rajiv Rin Yojona Loan Amount: EWS Loan amount-5 lakh Additional loan unsubsidized Size of house at least 21 sqmt. Construction of Toilet is mandatory Loan Tenure 15-20 years LIG Loan amount-8 lakh Subsidy only for 5 lakh loan amount, additional loan amount between 5-8 lakh unsubsidized. Size of house at least 28 sqmt. Construction of Toilet is mandatory Loan Tenure 15-20 years

Rajiv Rin Yojona Income Certificate by “Tahsildar” Documents as required by concerned bank. Mortage of house as primary security. No collateral security/third party guarantee No prepayment charges Beneficiary may approach directly to Bank or though ULB or through NGO Submission of documents Rs. 100/- per sanctioned application paid to designated staff of ULB/ NGO. Rs. 500/- per sanctioned application paid to bank. Incentives

Rajiv Rin Yojona Sign MoA with HUDCO/NHB (Central Nodal Agencies) Identify beneficiaries/ Group Housing Societies Sanction loan after due diligence Rate of Interest as per RBI Guidelines. (Fixed or Floated interest ) Claim reimbursement of subsidy from CNA (CNA in turn submit request to GoI, GoI will release subsidy amount) Send Utilization Certificate to CNA Random quality checks Role & Responsibility of Banks

Rajiv Rin Yojona Appoint NGO to identify/motivate beneficiaries and liaise with bank (appointment of NGO not mandatory) Create help desk (Rs. 100/- per sanctioned application is paid as incentive). IEC campaign Identify beneficiaries/ Group Housing Societies Assist beneficiaries to understand scheme details/ fill form/ to obtain requisite certificates Forward application to bank Monitor data Interact with SLBC/DLBC/LBM Review progress and remove bottlenecks The scheme is also review by CLMC CLTC acts as facilitator.
