9. Whatever is pure, lovely, & of good report “Whatever is pure, lovely, & of good report” – Pure: moral purity – Lovely: acceptable or pleasing – Good report: well spoke of – King David kept his mind on these things (Psa 63; 119:47-48; 139:17-18)

10. Whatever has virtue & is praiseworthy “Whatever has virtue & is praiseworthy” Virtuous thoughts motivate moral excellence Praiseworthy thoughts are worth commending Add to our faith is virtue (2 Pet 1:5)

11. Psa 19:7-9 –The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

12. Right living is the result of thinking right & praying right! Phil 4:9 – The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
