1 To get to the point were you can create an account on Wikipedia and then create and edit web pages on the site. To get to this point you must first type in www.wikipedia.org into the web address bar at the top of your screen. www.wikipedia.org After this is you go to the web page you will be met by the page below: Once you have completed both of these steps then you must next type in an article title into the search bar: It will be near the bottom of your screen and if you do this correctly you will then see the article page that you wanted which will show you a create/log in bar on the top right of your page which allows you to make an account on Wikipedia

2 Click on the ‘create one’ link which will lead you to this page Here you will have to enter a number of personal details and your account specifications This is what it will look like after it is completed, and you must also remember to fill in all boxes and accept the terms and conditions after reading it otherwise they will not let you create the account If done correctly your final page will be this one, however if any of the boxes are incorrectly filled in or your username is to similar to another then you will get the box down below in which case just make the necessary changes.

3 Wikipedia is a highly successful and popular open source software. All the members that use it can boast that they have added articles and been part of one of the fastest growing websites in the world. If you become a member you will receive a number of privileges including being able to edit articles and create your own articles. As a member you will also be expected to donate money to keep the website running as Wikipedia is a non-profitable organisation it relies heavily on donations and charity help to maintain the website.
