Private employers with 15 or more part-time and full-time employees, state and local governments, employment agencies, labor unions, and joint labor-management committees must comply with employment provisions (Title I) of the ADA. The legislative branch of the U.S. Government is also covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
