Freedom from criticism – people can take risks without embarrassment Constant sharing of ideas Two way flow of communication so that ideas have a place to go Respect for different “gifts” people bring to a situation Humor is encouraged

By being able to move creativity into innovation Innovation is the process of selecting, combining, refining and turning the very best ideas into reality Challenge is to efficiently generate as many good ideas as possible and efficiently convert them into products and services
