2 Requirements Project must be NO LARGER than an averaged-sized poster board. Muscle Cars of the 1960’s v White boxes indicate visuals Yellow boxes indicate paragraphs about the visuals

6 Requirements Projects MUST HAVE a TITLE about the SUBJECT of your project. (Not “The 60s”) Muscle Cars of the 1960’s v White boxes are the visuals Yellow boxes contain the student written paragraphs for the set of visuals

7 Visuals A visual is a drawing, photograph, map, or advertisement. Eamples : explanation Visuals DO NOT contain the explanation for the visual. YOU write the explanation in your own words.

8 PARAGRAPHS for Visuals Each SET of related visuals must have a neatly printed or typed paragraph explaining that set of visuals. (Minimum requirement) Each PARAGRAPH must contain a topic sentence, 3-5 sentences about the topic and a concluding sentence. (Minimum requirement) NO LESS THAN five (5) complete sentences per paragraph. (Minimum requirement)

9 “QUOTES” You may add ONE quote to your poster. It must be contained in “quotation marks” and the author of the quote must accompany the quote. The quote must be by itself on your poster. A quote is NOT considered a visual or part of your paragraphs.

10 Works Cited The Works Cited page will be handed in separately from your project. The Work Cited page is a list of each source you used in your research. Your Work Cited page should have a minimum of 5 sources listed in alphabetical order.

11 Grading POSTER = ONE test grade Works Cited page = ONE test grade
