Over 50% of students demonstrate high self-esteem after receiving food from a back pack program. About 50% of students experience a more trusting relationship with school personnel. Impact of weekend food programs shown by studies* Yana V. We can change the story of child hunger by partnering directly with a school! Funding – $3.71 a child per week or $130 a child a school year. Relationship – it’s not just about writing a check, ideally our group will own and build a relationship with the school. Down the road we may be able to partner with the school in other ways. Volunteer – if our group has the capacity, and the school is on board with this, we can provide volunteers to go to the school and help distribute the food.

Please consider partnering with us financially. - $130 is the cost of food for a child for a year - $520 provides the same for 4 children 1 child for a year Become a sustaining partner - Monthly recurring donations of any amount - $12/month is food for a child for a year - $48/month provides the same for 4 children Feed a classroom - $3,250 is food for a classroom of 25 children - Obviously, this commitment isn’t for everyone, but if you are financially able, think of the impact you could make!
